He attended the Tax Police Academy from 1987 to 1991.
He was in charge of different duties in Tax Police from 1992 to 2001: as a Lieutenant, ha was Section Head of the Salerno Tax Police office; as a Captain, he was Official Instructor of the eminent Tax Police Officials Academy and then Section Head of the Milan Tax Police Office. In this last period, ha organized and led judicial inquiries in collaboration with the Prosecutors belonging to the Pool “Crimes against Public Administration” in Milan.
From 2002 to 2010, he was the supervisor of Tax Litigation at Carnelutti Law Firm. In this period, he gave legal aid both in pre-litigation and litigation to important Italian and multinational corporate groups.
He graduated in Law (110 cum laude) at the University of Salerno and in Sciences of economic-financial security (110 cum laude) at the “Tor Vergata” University in Rome.
He attended educational courses about “Money Laundering” at the FBI Academy in Virginia (USA), “Tax Audit Technique” at the Tax Police School, “Corporate Income” at the Economic and Finance Minister High School “E. Vanoni”, “Financial Markets Law” and “Litigation before the European Human Rights Court” at the University of Milan.
He taught in different educational courses and he is the author of many articles and interpretation comments published in journals specialized in international taxation.
He is one of the members of the Scientific Committee of the Massimario Office of the Lombardia and Sicily Regional Tax Commission.
He is enrolled in the special bar of lawyers who can defend clients before the Corte di Cassazione.
In June 2010, he founded the Stufano Gigantino and Associates Tax and Law Firm that gives legal aid to eminent bank and industrial groups.
